A sister in peaceful prayer — the spirit of the Shalom wellness journey “Shalom” — peace, wholeness, completeness

About the Program

A sacred pause for hearts that give so much

Shalom is a month-long residential wellness program prayerfully designed for Catholic Sisters. In the warmth of a supportive community and under the care of experienced professionals, sisters are invited to pause, breathe and tend to their own inner journey — gently and at depth.

Organised by the St. Dymphna National Institute of Wellness in association with the CBCI Office for Healthcare, the program weaves together professional psychological care, human formation and deep spiritual renewal. Sisters who give themselves so generously to the Church and to the world deserve a space where their own hearts can be heard, healed and refreshed.

  • A safe, confidential and respectful environment
  • Guided by qualified mental-health & spiritual care professionals
  • Individual accompaniment through the whole journey
  • The serenity of a peaceful retreat setting
